What is CBC or Cannabichromene?

To date, CBC has shown promise in studies for the treatment of a variety of disease states and ongoing research continues to understand its various applications: anti-inflammatory, antinocieptive (pain reduction associated with nerve damage), relief from depression type symptoms, analgesic, neuroprotective, antibacterial and antifungal agent, and with possible use for the reduction of migraines, acne and GI disorders.

Cannabichromene, or CBC, is a powerful, non-psychoactive cannabinoid, which means it will not cause a person to feel “high”. Researchers believe that CBC plays an important role in human brain development and recovery by increasing the viability of developing brain cells. This process is known as neurogenesis.

CBC is known to fight inflammation by itself.  However, when combined with other cannabinoids, the efficacy of CBC is believed to increase significantly.

CBC interacts with proteins in the body that are responsible for pain control.  Because CBC does not bind to the CB1 receptor in the endocannabinoid system, it does NOT induce feelings of euphoria.  However, this rare cannabinoid does bind to the CB2 receptor which helps modulate inflammation in the body.

Additionally, CBC is believed to help control acne because CBC has been shown to significantly decrease acne inducing lipids.

CBC’s qualities have captured the attention of both researchers and the pharmaceutical industry.  Some researchers believe that CBC may be useful in addressing various mental health issues.  Examples of conditions for which CBC is particularly effective in providing symptom relief are:

This distillate is conveniently packaged in 1mL (1g) glass syringes. The distillate will be crystalized when you receive it. Simply place the syringe in hot water and it will become viscous after a few minutes. Do NOT attempt to plunge the crystalized CBG out of the syringe without heating or the glass will break.

Directions for Use: Gently heat the glass syringe being careful not to melt the plunger or plastic tip. When the distillate is viscous (runny like an oil), gently press the plunger until desired amount of distillate exits the tip of the syringe. Use to formulate tinctures, topicals, edibles and more.
